PARTS WASHERS

Problems with standard filtration systems

Most parts washer filter systems are attached full flow between the pump and the spigot. When the operator is finished cleaning the parts they normally turn the washer off, not giving the filter long enough to filter out the contamination. The next time the operator uses the washer the filter is filtering the existing contamination from last time while at the same time adding more contamination. After a period of time the solvent becomes contaminated to the point of disposal and as the filter becomes clogged the user losses flow to the spigot.

Solutions using Gulf Coast Filters

Gulf Coast filters has designed a parts washer filtration system that automatically cycles the solvent through the filter system throughout the day. This patented system uses an electronic timer and independent pump to insure the solvent is clean 100% of the time and the user will never lose flow to the spigot. The Alabama Army National Guard has purchased these parts washers for all of their locations throughout the state.
